About Péter Windisch

Professor Péter Windisch is Head and Chair of the Department of Periodontology at Semmelweis University in Budapest, where he has served as a full professor since 2012. He is also Chairman of the Hungarian Society of Periodontology and a delegated member of the European Federation of Periodontology.

His clinical and academic work focuses on periodontal regeneration, including the treatment of intrabony and furcation defects, root coverage procedures, bone and soft-tissue augmentation, and comprehensive implant-prosthodontic rehabilitation for periodontal patients.
