About David Herrera
Professor David Herrera is a periodontist, academic and researcher at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. His work focuses on the aetiology and therapy of periodontal and peri-implant diseases, oral microbiology, clinical guidelines and the translation of scientific evidence into everyday care.
He has served as President of the Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration and as Scientific Chair of EuroPerio10. He is closely involved in postgraduate education and international consensus work in periodontology.
